Industrial and Commercial Access Control Applications

The Biomax Access10 (model N-Access10) is engineered for standalone, offline access control deployments across industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities. Designed without internal audit log memory or external network cabling dependencies, the terminal provides autonomous door security for internal perimeters where transaction polling is unnecessary but reliable hardware interlocking is critical.

Securing Server Rooms and Network Distribution Closets

IT infrastructure hubs, data racks, and telecommunications closets house mission-critical network equipment that demands localized physical protection. Operating within a temperature range of 0°C to 50°C, the Access10 terminal acts as an offline barrier to unauthorized personnel. Its compact 86 mm x 86 mm x 26 mm footprint mounts cleanly onto standard electrical single-gang back boxes directly outside technical rooms.

To defend sensitive infrastructure against brute-force intrusion, facility administrators can configure high-assurance pass modes. The controller supports multi-factor authentication, enforcing dual-credential verification such as Fingerprint + RFID Card or Fingerprint + Common Password Code. The onboard dry relay directly triggers standard 12V DC fail-safe electromagnetic locks or fail-secure drop bolts, while maintaining internal egress through dedicated request-to-exit push button wiring.

Industrial R&D Labs, Cleanrooms, and Testing Bays

High-tech production facilities, testing bays, and pharmaceutical testing environments frequently enforce zone-level segregation. The Biomax Access10 registers up to 500 biometric fingerprint templates and 500 RFID proximity cards (125 kHz), accommodating technical staff across multiple manufacturing shifts. With an optical biometric verification speed of 1.5 seconds or less, False Rejection Rate (FRR) of ≤ 0.01%, and False Acceptance Rate (FAR) of 0.00001%, personnel pass quickly into sterile or controlled zones without bottlenecking shift rotations.

Because the unit operates in offline linking mode, internal cleanroom configurations do not require Ethernet drops or central server software integration. Local administration is conducted directly on the unit through the integrated keypad and monochrome Black & White LCD screen, simplifying standalone deployment in isolated laboratory partitions.

Commercial Back-Office and Stockroom Segregation

In retail stores, financial branch offices, and healthcare clinics, back-office cash rooms, pharmacy dispensary counters, and inventory stockrooms require restricted single-door entry. The Access10 supports up to 2 common password codes alongside individual biometric templates, giving operations managers flexible credential options for permanent staff and temporary inventory workers.

To maintain seamless customer interactions, the device incorporates dedicated front-panel doorbell circuitry. Visitors or external couriers press the front Bell icon button to chime an external visitor bell connected across the unit's signaling terminals. Authorized occupants can then release the lock from the interior using an exit push button, or allow access to non-registered users without compromising the physical perimeter.
