Administrative Menu Access and Navigation Failures
The Biomax Access10 (N-Access10) standalone controller utilizes a contextual front keypad where the Bell icon functions as 'Confirm/OK' and the asterisk (*) button serves as 'Back/Cancel/ESC'. If the system does not respond to keypad entry, confirm that you are initiating access correctly. Entering the engineering setup menu requires a continuous long press on the Bell icon button for 3 seconds. When prompted on the black-and-white LCD screen, input the factory default 6-digit administrator code (888888) followed by the Bell button.
If the default administrator code is rejected, the primary code has been altered during commissioning. In situations where an administrative password is lost or compromised, hardware recovery requires executing a factory reset or clearing stored parameters.
Biometric Enrollment and Template Rejection
Verification failures on registered users (false rejection rate Option 3 ('Opening Delay'), enter the required lock hold duration from 1 to 255 seconds, and press the Bell button to confirm. If external request-to-exit hardware is unresponsive, inspect the wiring continuity on the dedicated push-button terminal inputs.
Factory Reset and Complete Initialization
To purge all user parameters, common passwords, RFID credentials, and biometric templates, execute a master reset through the internal firmware menu:
- Press and hold the Bell icon button for 3 seconds.
- Enter the 6-digit administrator code (default: 888888) and press Bell.
- Navigate to and select 7. User delete.
- Select 2. All Delete.
- Confirm the total memory purge by pressing the Bell (OK) button 4 consecutive times.
