This system interlocks directly with Honeywell SafetySuite Device Configurator software to automate regulatory compliance tracking, reduce calibration gas consumption, and standardize fleet data records without manual input.

Wireless Telemetry and Software Ecosystem Compatibility

Equipped with an onboard Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) transceiver, the detector establishes direct wireless communication over distances up to 6 meters. Telemetry, active gas exposure levels, rolling 24-hour peak readings, and critical alarm events transmit directly to paired host systems running the following compatible platforms:

• Honeywell Safety Communicator App: Compatible with mobile devices running supported Android and iOS operating systems, enabling instantaneous relay of worker telemetry and gas alarm conditions directly from the field.
• Honeywell SafetySuite Software: Enterprise-level cloud and on-premise safety monitoring software that aggregates live field data across multi-facility worker deployments for remote exposure visualization.

Replacement components and power hardware strictly conform to factory-defined specifications:

• Target Gas Sensing: Dedicated 1-Series electrochemical Carbon Monoxide (CO) sensor providing a measurement detection range of 0 to 2,000 ppm with 1 ppm resolution.
• Power Supply Requirements: Requires a single 2/3AA 3.6V 1.65Ah lithium cell battery (they are not included), which supports up to 12 months of continuous monitoring.
• Field Serviceable Hardware: Compatible with tool-free front filter replacements via a quick-release door, and ships standard with a calibration/test cap connected to a 1-foot hose.
• Electronic Assemblies: Internally compatible with factory replacement wireless Carbon Monoxide circuit boards (part reference BWS1-ML-PCB1) for model variants BWS1-ML-Y and BWS1-ML-B.

Industrial Mounting and Hazardous Location Suitability

Engineered for harsh operating conditions spanning -40°C to +60°C and 5% to 95% non-condensing relative humidity, the unit features an IP66 and IP68 environmental enclosure rating (submersion certified up to 1.2 meters for 45 minutes). Mechanical compatibility for worker attachment is provided via a heavy-duty stainless-steel alligator clip on the concussion-proof casing, securing the 103-gram detector directly within the user's breathing zone on PPE collars, chest harnesses, or lapels.
