Heavy Industrial & Manufacturing Workforce Timekeeping
The Biomax N-G4W is engineered with rigid housing construction specifically suited for demanding industrial shop floors, manufacturing plants, and heavy fabrication facilities. Industrial environments frequently pose operational challenges for conventional optical biometric readers due to skin abrasion, chemical staining, and surface contamination. The terminal features a specialized 500 DPI optical fingerprint sensor engineered to authenticate difficult finger conditions, including ink-stained, mehndi-colored, rough, or excessively dry fingers.
For high-throughput shift rotations where contact-based fingerprint verification can cause operational bottlenecks, the terminal provides distant facial recognition operating at distances up to approximately 1.5 meters (4 feet). Powered by a 1 GHz processor running an embedded Linux operating system, the system completes facial recognition in 1 second or less, even in normal to low light conditions. The high memory capacity accommodating 10,000 face templates, 30,000 fingerprint templates, and an offline transaction buffer of 200,000 logs ensures uninterrupted attendance capture during high-volume shift changes across manufacturing shifts.
High-Security Physical Access Control & Perimeter Entry
Beyond workforce time attendance, the N-G4W functions as a standalone or networked physical access controller for secured facilities, control rooms, and commercial infrastructure. Equipped with an onboard relay output, the unit directly switches electronic door locks and perimeter barriers upon successful multi-modal credential verification. System administrators can configure single or multi-factor authentication combinations across facial profiles, fingerprints, passwords, and RFID credentials (supporting standard 125 kHz EM proximity cards or optional 13.56 MHz Mifare smart cards).
For two-way secure door management, the terminal provides integrated Wiegand input and Wiegand output interfaces to connect external slave readers or integrate upstream into third-party access control panels. It also natively interfaces with RS485 exit peripherals, push-to-exit buttons, wireless remotes, and no-touch exit sensors. The unit's biometric algorithm delivers a False Acceptance Rate (FAR) of 0.00001% and a False Rejection Rate (FRR) of 0.001%. Continuous door security is maintained during site power failures through support for an internal or external power backup battery (they are not included) operating alongside its primary 12V DC, 2A power supply.
Automated Canteen Management & Token Generation
The N-G4W incorporates a dedicated RS232 serial communication interface designed to transform the attendance terminal into an automated industrial canteen management station. By connecting an external thermal token and receipt printer directly to the RS232 port, facilities can automate meal authorization and print physical meal chits immediately upon credential identification.
This automated workflow eliminates manual meal coupon tracking, prevents unauthorized meal claims, and mitigates proxy attendance. Interactive 16-bit Hi-Fi English voice prompts and visual status confirmation on the 4.3-inch color touch screen (480 x 272 resolution) guide dining staff through rapid authentication without requiring supervisory oversight.
Multi-Site Enterprise Synchronization & Distributed Branch Networks
For multi-branch corporations, distributed warehouse networks, and remote project locations, the N-G4W supports real-time network integration across disparate network topographies. Terminals communicate through built-in Wi-Fi, Ethernet (TCP/IP RJ45), or an optional 4G GPRS module for off-grid or remote sites lacking wired infrastructure.
Operating in conjunction with Biomax Desktop, Web, or Cloud attendance management platforms, the terminal leverages real-time Push Data architecture. Enterprise IT departments can remotely provision devices, execute centralized user enrollment, distribute templates, manage validity expirations, and pull transactional logs across all regional endpoints simultaneously. A comprehensive SDK is also supported to integrate attendance records directly into enterprise ERP and payroll systems.
