Which door thicknesses and network ecosystems are compatible with the ZKTeco HBL400?

Answer:
The ZKTeco HBL400 is engineered for standard wooden and metal doors with a thickness of 45 mm to 60 mm (customizable). It integrates natively over standard 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n) with the ZSmart and USmart Go mobile applications for remote unlocking, temporary passcodes, and log management.

The ZKTeco HBL400 is designed for straightforward mechanical and digital integration across modern facility infrastructure:

  • Door Mechanical Compatibility: Compatible out-of-the-box with standard timber, composite, and metal entry doors having a door leaf thickness between 45 mm and 60 mm (customizable for specialized architectural profiles).
  • Wireless Communication: Incorporates an embedded Wi-Fi module operating on IEEE 802.11b/g/n (2.4 GHz) protocols, removing the requirement for proprietary hardware bridge gateways.
  • IoT Ecosystem Integration: Interfaces with the ZSmart and USmart Go smart home and access automation applications, enabling remote temporary access code generation, remote unlocking logs, and 6-month free cloud storage for access event records.
  • Emergency Power Backup: Equipped with an external 5V Micro-USB emergency port to power the unit using an external power bank if the internal lithium battery (they are not included) is completely drained.
