System Compatibility & Hardware Integration for ZKTeco FBL200

The ZKTeco FBL200 Single Lane Flap Barrier Turnstile is engineered to interface directly with diverse physical access control technologies, third-party security management platforms, life-safety systems, and electrical infrastructure. Its modular architecture and standardized input/output interfaces streamline integration across commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.

Access Control Reader & Credential Interfacing

The FBL200 supports integration across multiple identification and credential reading modalities. The onboard controller accepts standard dry contact relay opening signals as well as 12V level signals with a trigger pulse width greater than 100ms. Standard supported reader integrations include:

  • Biometric Terminals: Fingerprint biometric readers for secure identity verification.
  • RFID & Smart Card Readers: Contactless IC and ID proximity card readers.
  • Optical Scanners: 1D and 2D barcode and QR code scanning modules for visitor management and ticketing.
  • Serial Communication: RS232 communication interface for direct controller command messaging and status polling.

Emergency System & Fire Alarm Integration

Life safety and emergency evacuation protocols are integrated into the FBL200 control architecture. The controller features a dedicated interface for fire-fighting signals:

  • Fire-Fighting Signal Mode: Automatically triggers barrier retraction upon receiving an active fire alarm trigger, providing an unobstructed passage route.
  • Emergency Mode: Retracts the acrylic wings fully into the SUS304 stainless steel casework during emergency triggers.
  • Power Failure Operation: If main power is interrupted, the barriers retract automatically when an optional backup battery (they are not included) is installed.

Electrical Infrastructure & Control Board Interfacing

The FBL200 turnstile integrates with standard global mains electrical power networks and provides internal drive power management:

  • Line Voltage: Compatible with AC 100V–120V and AC 200V–240V supply networks operating at 50/60Hz.
  • Motor Driving: Internal mechanism operates via a 24V DC, 40W drive motor.
  • Onboard LCD Configuration: Features an integrated LCD screen directly on the flap barrier control board, enabling technicians to configure passage timeouts, anti-pinch thresholds, and signal input parameters without external programming consoles.
