Class-A Overhead Fall Arrest Deployment

The Udyogi Tango II full body safety harness is primarily engineered for Class-A industrial fall arrest operations across manufacturing plants, structural steel frameworks, and civil construction environments. Equipped with a dorsal D-ring, the harness connects directly to compatible fall arrest subsystems, such as energy-absorbing lanyards or retractable lifelines, to mitigate dynamic deceleration forces during an accidental fall.

During free-fall deceleration, the 44 ± 1 mm wide high-strength polyester webbing—rated to a breaking strength of 23 kN—distributes impact loads across the shoulders, chest, and thighs. The low-profile sub-pelvic strap remains low and comfortable during post-fall suspension, while the integrated built-in fall indicator provides immediate visual confirmation if the harness has experienced dynamic impact forces and must be withdrawn from service.

Class-L Vertical Ladder Climbing and Restraint

For personnel ascending fixed vertical industrial ladders, transmission towers, silos, or wind turbine masts, the Tango II supports Class-L climbing restraint systems via its twin sternal chest D-rings. Guided-type fall arresters operating on rigid or flexible vertical anchor lines can be coupled directly to both chest D-rings, maintaining the technician's upright posture and arresting upward or downward slip events immediately.

Because fixed ladder transitions require sustained vertical climbing, the harness features horizontal H-shaped thigh straps. This ergonomic configuration eliminates direct pressure and pinching across the groin area, permitting fluid leg articulation and reducing technician fatigue throughout multi-tier climbing routines.

General Work at Height and Industrial Construction

The Tango II is built for diverse work-at-height applications on scaffolding platforms, structural decking, elevated bridge works, and staging areas with an individual safe working load capacity of 100 kg. With a bare unit weight of 1270 grams (1.27 kg), the harness minimizes overall equipment bulk, allowing workers to carry required manual tools without excessive burden.

Integrated size-adjustment straps across the chest, shoulders, and thighs allow safety officers to fit diverse body profiles snugly. Consistent fitment ensures that dynamic test capabilities—conforming to drop resistance with a 100 kg torso dummy at a 4-metre free-fall distance across every fall arrest attachment element—are maintained on active jobsites in full alignment with EN 361:2002 and IS 3521(Part 1): 2021 industrial standards.

Operational Application Matrix

Application Scenario Attachment Point Standard Classification Primary Operational Advantage
Working at Height / Elevated Platforms Dorsal D-Ring Class A (Fall Arrest) 23 kN polyester webbing arrests falls while sub-pelvic strap sustains suspension
Vertical Ladder Climbing & Mast Access Twin Sternal Chest D-Rings Class L (Climbing / Restraint) Twin connection aligns worker upright; horizontal H-thigh straps prevent groin pinching
Construction Framework & Scaffolding Dorsal or Sternal Elements EN 361:2002 / IS 3521 Fully adjustable straps at chest, shoulders, and thighs ensure snug fit for 100 kg load
