What plumbing connections and supply lines are required to install the Udyogi 6250 GI?

Answer:
The unit requires a 1-¼ inch BSP water inlet connection and a 1-¼ inch BSP Tee drain outlet. It must be connected to an uninterruptible supply of potable or tepid water at 2.1 kg/cm² (30 PSI) and secured to the floor via its base plate flange.

Installing the Udyogi 6250 GI combination safety shower requires standard industrial plumbing infrastructure:

  • Water Inlet: 1-¼ inches BSP / NB inlet positioned approximately 1400 mm to 1500 mm above floor level. A 1-inch lock nut is included for perpendicular positioning of the shower head bend.
  • Drainage: 1-¼ inches BSP / NB Tee water outlet connection to channel waste runoff safely away from the operating station.
  • Supply Quality: The system must connect to an uninterruptible supply of clean drinking or tepid water maintained at 2.1 kg/cm² (30 PSI).
  • Mounting: Fixed floor installation utilizing the heavy-duty mounting base plate flange to support the full 17.8 kg structure during emergency pull-rod and foot-pedal engagement.
