FAQ

What materials and activation controls are built into the Udyogi 6250 GI model?

Answer:
The 6250 GI is constructed from powder-coated Galvanized Iron (GI) piping, an acid- and alkali-resistant high-visibility yellow ABS receptor bowl and shower head, and SS 304 stay-open ball valves operated by a manual pull rod, push plate, or foot pedal.

The Udyogi 6250 GI is built for corrosive and harsh industrial plants using heavy-duty, chemically resistant materials:

  • Structural Piping: Fabricated from ISI-marked Galvanized Iron (GI) treated with an anti-corrosive powder coating.
  • Shower Head & Receptor Bowl: Molded from high-visibility yellow ABS plastic (bowl diameter 270 ± 5 mm) resistant to acids, alkalis, and oils.
  • Shower Actuation: Controlled by an SS 304 stay-open ball valve triggered by an overhead pull rod; once pulled, it remains fully open until manually reset.
  • Eye Wash Actuation: Controlled via a 1/2-inch SS 304 powder-coated BSP ball valve with dual operation—either via a powder-coated GI push plate or a floor-level powder-coated GI foot pedal.
  • Aerosol Spray Protection: Features twin soft-flow aerated automiser heads equipped with integrated flip covers that protect water outlets from airborne particulate contamination and open automatically upon hydraulic activation.
