About this product .

The Hitune Bass MSB-64 is a heavy-duty two-way talk-back public address column speaker engineered for commercial and institutional announcement networks. Built specifically for bidirectional voice communication, it allows master control operators to make targeted announcements and permits local room occupants to reply directly.
Constructed from mild steel sheet metal, the robust enclosure provides mechanical protection for internal components in high-traffic indoor environments. The unit features a durable black exterior finish, making it suitable for discreet installation on classroom walls, administrative corridors, and factory supervision areas.
Acoustically, the speaker delivers 10W RMS of clean voice-frequency reproduction. It incorporates an integrated microphone and a dedicated room return call switch, allowing instantaneous call initiation back to the master intercom or central distribution console without requiring separate telephony cabling.
The unit features a built-in 100V line matching transformer (LMT), enabling seamless integration into distributed 100V constant-voltage public address networks. This high-impedance architecture ensures long-distance cable runs across multi-room educational complexes and industrial facilities without significant signal attenuation.
Installation is versatile, supporting either solid wall-mount deployment via rear mounting provisions or stable tabletop placement depending on desk and room ergonomics. The passive mono design interfaces directly with standard school broadcast consoles such as SBS series multi-zone controllers.
Maintenance requires minimal intervention, consisting primarily of periodic visual checks of the line terminations and gentle dry wiping of the metal grille and housing to prevent excessive dust accumulation in industrial or educational spaces.

Hitune Bass MSB-64 / MSB-64T Speaker Column Installation & Field Deployment

The Hitune Bass MSB-64 (MSB-64T) two-way talk-back metal speaker column is engineered for industrial and institutional communication networks. Designed for facilities such as schools, commercial offices, and manufacturing plants, this unit facilitates both high-clarity announcements and bidirectional talk-back capability via an integrated microphone and room return call switch. Proper mechanical and electrical installation ensures balanced audio delivery and dependable signaling over 100V distributed lines.

Physical Placement and Mounting Options

The MSB-64 features a robust mild steel (MS) sheet metal housing with a black exterior finish, engineered strictly for indoor installations. Depending on architectural requirements, the unit can be configured in two distinct mounting positions:

Wall-Mounted Installation: Affix the rear bracket assembly securely to vertical surfaces such as masonry, concrete, or interior drywall partition studs using appropriate industrial wall plugs and fasteners. Ensure the enclosure is mounted at an optimal operational height—typically between 1.5 and 1.8 meters from the finished floor level—allowing occupants easy access to the front-facing room return call switch and direct acoustic alignment with the built-in microphone.
Tabletop Deployment: The enclosure can also be positioned on horizontal surfaces, such as classroom control desks, security counters, or administrative workstations. When placed on a tabletop, route the field cables away from moving desktop equipment to avoid strain on the terminal connections.

100V Line and Transformer Wiring

The MSB-64T variant incorporates a factory-fitted 100V line matching transformer (LMT) designed for distributed high-impedance sound systems. The speaker column operates as a passive mono reproduction unit rated at an input power of 10W RMS.

When integrating the speaker into a 100V constant-voltage public address network, observe the following electrical procedures:

Ensure the master 100V power amplifier is fully isolated and powered down before terminating any field wiring.
Connect the distributed audio transmission line directly across the input terminals of the 100V line matching transformer, verifying phase polarity across all parallel speaker drops on the same zone to prevent acoustic cancellation.
Maintain calculation limits ensuring total speaker power loads on the run do not exceed the continuous output rating of the host talk-back amplifier or central console.

Talk-Back Circuit & Return Call Switch Integration

Bidirectional operation requires the termination of both the speaker audio loop and the dedicated signaling lines for the internal microphone and return call switch:

Return Call Switch Connection: Route the signaling pair from the central talk-back console (such as the SBS series / SBS-20 master station) to the return call switch terminals. When a room occupant depresses this switch, it sends an alert signal to the master operator, indicating an incoming request to communicate.
Built-In Microphone Path: Wire the internal talk-back microphone line back to the console's pre-amplified talk-back listening bus. Ensure low-noise, shielded cabling is utilized for the microphone return conductors to suppress external electromagnetic interference generated by adjacent industrial machinery or lighting ballasts.

Target Applications and Deployment Scenarios for the Hitune Bass MSB-64 Talk-Back Speaker

The Hitune Bass MSB-64 (MSB-64T) is an indoor two-way talk-back PA metal speaker column engineered for facilities requiring bidirectional communication over standard high-voltage distributed public address lines. Featuring an integrated 100V line matching transformer (LMT), a built-in microphone, a room return call switch, and a 10W RMS passive mono transducer assembly, the MSB-64 serves as both an announcement loudspeaker and an intercom call-in station. Its mild steel (MS) sheet metal housing in a black finish supports tabletop or wall-mounted installation across demanding indoor administrative and production spaces.

Educational Institution Broadcast and Intercom Networks

School broadcasting systems demand intelligible voice dissemination paired with quick classroom-to-administration reporting. The MSB-64 integrates directly into educational 100V talk-back infrastructure, including master consoles such as SBS series broadcast systems:

Classroom-to-Administration Intercom: The built-in room return call switch allows instructors or room occupants to signal the central school administrative desk, opening a bidirectional channel via the internal microphone for queries, attendance reporting, or urgent notices.
Zone-Wide General Announcements: Operating at 10W RMS over 100V lines, the speaker delivers clear, distributed mono audio across academic blocks, lecture halls, and staff rooms without signal attenuation over long cable distances.
Tabletop or Wall Integration: The versatile mounting profile enables clean placement onto teacher podiums as a tabletop talk-back monitor or high-level wall fastening out of student reach.

Industrial Plant and Factory Facility Operations

Manufacturing floors, indoor logistics hubs, and processing facilities require sturdy endpoints that resist physical wear while maintaining reliable line supervision:

Supervisor-to-Station Communications: Installed at assembly checkpoints, indoor loading docks, or packaging lines, the MSB-64 facilitates two-way floor communications. Shift workers use the room return call switch to alert floor supervisors or central control rooms to material bottlenecks and machinery status changes.
Robust Metal Housing: Fabricated from mild steel (MS) with a black enclosure finish, the speaker withstands the everyday mechanical hazards and vibrational strains typical of indoor industrial environments, offering superior physical durability compared to plastic housings.
Distributed 100V Architecture: Plant facilities often feature extensive square footage. The integrated 100V line matching transformer allows multi-speaker parallel daisy chaining across distributed factory runs without requiring low-impedance power amplifiers close to the point of use.

Corporate Offices and Commercial Building Control

In structured office buildings, warehouse administration offices, and logistics depots, rapid two-way communication between security desks, reception, and back-office areas is critical:

Internal Security and Reception Checkpoints: Deployed on tabletops or wall surfaces near service windows, back-office corridors, or access doors, the unit allows personnel to establish hands-free talk-back communication with central management.
Facility-Wide Paging and Zone Return: The passive mono design integrates seamlessly into commercial multi-zone public address consoles, providing standard background administrative announcements while preserving individual station return-call capability through the onboard switch.
