FAQ

Which beam profiles and access control peripherals are compatible with the FAAC 620 Standard barrier?

Answer:
The FAAC 620 Standard supports 4-meter rectangular and cylindrical aluminium beams, bottom skirt kits, and fork support rests. It connects directly with FAAC safety photocells via BUS 2easy or relay contacts, external loop detectors, traffic signal lights, and third-party parking management or RFID access systems.

The FAAC 620 Standard barrier cabinet accommodates standard 4-meter aluminium arm assemblies, including both rectangular profiles and cylindrical aerodynamic beams. The mechanical arm mounting hub allows calibration with optional accessories such as bottom beam skirt panels and resting fork supports.

System peripheral interfacing is facilitated by the 624 BLD control unit:

  • Safety Sensors: Supports FAAC XP-series and FOTOSWITCH safety photocells through BUS 2easy two-wire polarity-free connections or standard relay I/O terminals.
  • Traffic Signalling: Dedicated output terminals drive red/green traffic control indicator lamps to signal barrier status.
  • Access Control & PMS Integration: Digital inputs and outputs connect with long-range UHF RFID readers, automated ticket dispensers, barcode/QR validators, push-button stations, and computerized parking management systems.
  • Ground Inductive Loops: Connects directly to external loops via the built-in dual-channel loop evaluation module.
