Industrial & Commercial Applications for Ahuja CCS-2300

The Ahuja CCS-2300 two-way counter communication system is engineered for facilities requiring clear acoustic transmission across physical security barriers, including architectural glass partitions, acrylic teller shields, and transaction windows. Operating on standard 220V–240V AC power with dual 2W amplifier channels, electret condenser microphones, and attendant voice priority, the modular three-piece architecture adapts to demanding public-facing commercial, institutional, and transport infrastructure.

Banking and Financial Service Counters

In retail banking halls, cash transaction desks, and microfinance service centers, transparent acoustic barriers often muffle low-frequency and conversational speech. The CCS-2300 bridges this acoustic barrier by providing dedicated speech level adjustments for both Talk and Listen modes from the compact tabletop attendant console (W116 × H65 × D170 mm). Attendant voice priority ensures tellers can control dialogue flow during high-value transactions, while the compact Ø98 × D52 mm customer unit mounts directly to stone counter slabs or partition glass using dedicated mounting tape or bracket hardware.

Railway, Metro, and Airport Ticketing Terminals

High-footfall transport hubs generate continuous acoustic background noise that interferes with ticket booking and check-in procedures. The integrated Auto-Mute toggle switch on the attendant station mitigates this issue by partially muting the customer microphone element if no speech is detected for approximately 30 seconds. This auto-suppression keeps ambient station roar, announcements, and crowd reverberation from feeding back into the attendant console speaker.

Hospital Receptions and Institutional Visa Desks

Healthcare reception desks, pharmacy dispensing counters, post offices, and embassy consular windows require clear, fatigue-free audio transmission during extended working shifts. The attendant station incorporates a 20-inch (20”) flexible gooseneck electret condenser microphone, allowing staff to communicate comfortably without straining. For operators requiring hands-free mobility, the attendant unit includes a 3.5mm jack socket compatible with an external headband microphone, such as the Ahuja HBM-50.
