Ador SERENITi Trailer-Mounted Speed Violation & VMS Deployment Scenarios

The Ador SERENITi Trailer-Mounted Speed Violation and Variable Message Sign (VMS) system (ERP Ref: KTI04001001TMVS) is an integrated, mobile traffic-calming and driver feedback solution. Combining a dual-direction 24GHz K-band Doppler radar, high-visibility 16-inch tricolor 7-segment speed digits, and a 1280 x 960 mm SMD LED matrix display, this platform allows traffic authorities, site safety engineers, and highway contractors to deploy dynamic monitoring wherever temporary, relocatable, or variable-condition traffic control is required.

Highway and Arterial Road Traffic Calming

High-speed arterial corridors and highway approaches require clear, early-stage driver notification to prevent sudden deceleration hazards. Operating across a wide speed detection band of 5 km/h to 199 km/h with ±2 km/h accuracy, the SERENITi radar detects approaching vehicles at distances up to 250 meters. The 16-inch 3-row LED display, accompanied by the 1.37-inch 'YOUR SPEED' legend, delivers legibility over 300 meters away. By presenting real-time vehicle velocities in amber, green, or red alongside targeted dynamic visual warnings on the 6000-nit VMS board, the system compels compliance on high-volume expressways, toll-plaza approaches, and accident-prone bypass curves.

Highway Work Zones and Construction Corridors

Temporary infrastructure repair zones and lane redirections demand agile, visible warning equipment that adapts as construction boundaries advance. The steel-fabricated trailer chassis (1500 mm wide by 2600 mm long) features a tow bar, a collapsible jockey wheel, and a 4-point leveling jack system, enabling rapid relocation along progressive work stretches. Road safety teams can hoist the display from 2.2 meters up to 3.0 meters (ground to display top edge) using the motorized or hydraulic lift mechanism, and rotate the sign face up to 330° to target specific approach angles. Concurrently, the asynchronous VMS system alerts motorists to lane closures, shifting traffic patterns, or reduced work-zone speed limits in English, Devanagari, or optional regional languages using text and graphics.

Industrial Complexes, Ports, and Campus Road Networks

Within large manufacturing sites, logistics yards, refineries, and private corporate campuses, heavy commercial traffic interacts continuously with internal pedestrian pathways. Deploying the trailer-mounted SERENITi enables facility safety teams to enforce internal plant speed regulations without pouring permanent foundations. Bidirectional tracking captures outbound and inbound vehicle activity, logging up to 1 million time-stamped vehicle records to the SERENITi Cloud App or local SERENITi Web App. If continuous speeding occurs in sensitive terminal areas, safety managers can integrate an external audible siren to sound alarms upon violation. Power flexibility—operating via 24VDC from batteries (they are not included), 230V AC mains, or superstructure-mounted solar panels—allows continuous operation along remote internal perimeters.

Environmental and Operational Resilience

  • Durable Enclosure Engineering: The speed display is housed in a one-piece, through-dyed grey, anti-UV ABS resin body rated IP65 against dust and moisture ingress.
  • Robust Display Cabinets: The 1380 x 1060 mm M.S. CRCA sheet VMS enclosure features IP65 front and IP54 rear ingress ratings, paired with an IP55-rated chassis junction box protected by miniature circuit breakers (MCB).
  • All-Weather Optical Performance: The VMS board delivers 6000 nits brightness at a refresh rate of ≥1000 Hz, with 45° horizontal and vertical viewing angles ensuring clarity in direct sunlight and dense rain across ambient conditions of 0°C to 55°C.
  • Highway Transport Compliance: Integrated amber/red tail reflectors, tail lights, and side lights provide full visibility while towing the 26 kg speed unit and trailer chassis between operational locations.
