System Integration, Hardware Interfaces, and Software Compatibility

The ADOR SERENITi with Trailer speed violation detection and Variable Message Sign (VMS) system (ERP Ref: KTI04001001TMVS) is engineered with standardized electrical, communication, and mechanical interfaces designed for highway management networks, work-zone operations, and industrial plant roadway control.

Network, Communications, and Protocol Compatibility

The integrated display assembly operates on an asynchronous control system capable of displaying dynamic text and graphical symbols. System transmission supports TCP/IP protocol architectures utilizing hardwired RJ45 Ethernet connections, a local Mini B-type USB interface, and integrated local area network (LAN) communication. For remote telematics, the system supports optional GSM wireless connectivity. Field deployments requiring cellular or enterprise network routing require client-side provisioning, as active SIM cards and external LAN network infrastructure are outside Ador’s scope of supply.

Central Software and Management Ecosystem

The sign hardware interfaces directly with dedicated SERENITi software packages for localized and enterprise-wide fleet oversight:

  • SERENITi Web App: Provides local field configuration, communication link verification, parameter adjustments, vehicle logging access, and real-time live graphical displays of traffic data.
  • SERENITi Cloud App: Acts as the centralized enterprise application interface designed to aggregate, configure, and monitor multiple deployed mobile trailers across disparate regional sites.
  • Cloud Data Storage: Integrated data logging architecture supports memory storage for up to 1,000,000 timestamped vehicle records, synchronizing bidirectional speed metrics (5 to 199 km/h) and vehicle count statistics collected by the internal 24GHz ISM-Band / K-Band dual-direction Doppler radar.
  • Multilingual Typography Support: The message rendering engine natively supports full text and character rendering in English and Devanagari, with support for additional regional languages as an available option.

Power Infrastructure and Electrical Compatibility

The electrical control assembly features broad power integration capabilities across multiple deployment scenarios. System power input accepts 24VDC supplied from batteries (they are not included), direct 230V AC municipal/city utility power, or an autonomous photovoltaic generation system utilizing a solar panel mounted directly onto the trailer superstructure above the display. The chassis is equipped with an IP55-rated mild steel cold-rolled close-annealed (M.S. CRCA) junction box housing the solar regulator, battery charger, switchgear, and an internal miniature circuit breaker (MCB) for overcurrent circuit protection. The onboard battery enclosure provides mechanical and electrical housing capacity for up to 2 batteries (they are not included).

Mechanical Coupling and External Peripheral Integration

Mechanical integration with towing vehicles is facilitated through a dedicated tow bar paired with a collapsible, height-adjustable jockey wheel, allowing standard ball or pintle hitch transport. Once positioned, stationary stability is established using a 4-point height-adjustable mechanical jack leveling arrangement across the 1500 mm x 2600 mm steel fabricated chassis. display orientation is managed by an integrated 330° display rotation mechanism with positive locking to aim against oncoming multi-lane traffic, while vertical alignment is governed by a motorized mast or hydraulic jacking assembly offering height adjustment spanning 2.2 meters to 3.0 meters (measured from ground level to display top edge). For advanced enforcement and warning workflows, the onboard control logic supports external integration with an optional high-output siren for immediate overspeed alert signaling.
