FAQ

What mounting hardware, power sources, and connectivity options are compatible with the Ador Indus speed display?

Answer:
The Ador Indus includes pole mounting brackets and supports installation on poles, gantries, trailers, or dollies (mounting pole and fixing are in the client's scope). It supports 230V AC mains, solar regulator/panel setups, or mobile battery (they are not included) power, and interfaces via Mini B-type USB, LAN, or optional GSM.

The Ador Indus (SKU: KTI04015002SINDSS) provides comprehensive interoperability across mounting frameworks, electrical supplies, and traffic management software:

  • Mounting Hardware: Supplied with pole mounting brackets. The chassis is compatible with permanent round or square poles, overhead gantries, and mobile traffic trailers or dollies. Pole supply and pole fixing remain in the client's scope of work.
  • Power Supply Options:
    • Solar Power: Integrated internal solar regulator compatible with external solar panels and two 12V/18Ah batteries (they are not included).
    • AC Grid Power: 230V AC direct mains connectivity for street lighting infrastructure.
    • AC Mobile / DC Power: Battery (they are not included) charger circuit designed for standalone deployment with two 12V/18Ah batteries (they are not included).
  • Communication Interfaces: Onboard Mini B-type USB port for direct field programming, RJ45 LAN port for local networking, and optional GSM connectivity for cellular data transfer.
  • Traffic Analysis Software: Interfaces with the Indus Web App for configuration logging, live traffic graphs, and threshold configurations (Minimum, Speed Limit, Maximum speeds), as well as the Indus Cloud App storing up to 1 million vehicle logs with time-stamped directional count and speed analytics.
  • External Alerting: Onboard circuitry supports optional integration with an external audible siren for over-speed threshold alerts.
