FAQ

What access control interfaces and emergency fail-safe features does the SBTL500 support?

Answer:
The SBTL500 supports integration with RFID card readers and biometric fingerprint modules. In the event of a power failure, its built-in emergency mode automatically unlocks the barrier wings, allowing pedestrians to manually push through for safe evacuation.

The SBTL500 swing barrier provides straightforward access control and emergency egress handling:

  • Authentication Reader Integration: Factory-tested and compatible with RFID proximity card readers and biometric fingerprint access terminals for plug-and-play validation.
  • Emergency Fail-Safe Operation: Barriers are normally held in a secure locked state. During power outages or emergency triggers, the system automatically unlocks the acrylic swing barriers, enabling unhindered manual push-through exit.
  • Visual Direction Indicators: Integrated LED directional signaling visually instructs pedestrians on access status.
  • Installation Requirements: Designed for base mounting to a horizontal concrete plinth (recommended 50 mm to 100 mm height) using M12 expansion anchors, with dedicated φ25mm PVC conduits for routing power and Ethernet cabling.
