Systematic Diagnostics and Status Verification

The ZKTeco SBTL300 single-lane swing barrier turnstile integrates an onboard LCD display screen on its internal control board alongside LED direction indicators on the top lid. When operational faults occur during automated entry processing, technicians should first consult the LCD display screen to confirm the current running status and system operating state. Before undertaking any mechanical or electrical maintenance procedures, always switch off the AC 110V/220V power supply to ensure physical and electrical safety.

Infrared Safety Sensor Inspection

The turnstile uses 4 pairs of infrared sensors to monitor pedestrian movement and prevent pinch hazards. If the turnstile signals an obstruction or fails to reset after a user passes through, inspect each sensor pair along the inner casework. Verify that dust, outdoor residue, or optical misalignments are not blocking the beam path across the 750 mm lane width. Clean the sensor lenses using a soft, dry cloth and confirm that wiring leads to the main control terminal board are secure.

Mechanical Core and Transmission Maintenance

The internal mechanical assembly of the SBTL300 comprises a brushless motor, drive frame, transmission belt, and locking mechanism rated for an MCBF of 2 million operations. If the swing barrier exhibits abnormal opening noise exceeding the standard 30 dB threshold or shows erratic positioning, inspect the drive belt tension and secure all structural fasteners on the drive frame. Ensure the acrylic barrier wings are firmly mounted to the swing spindle without physical play or obstruction.

Electrical Power and Environmental Verification

Confirm that the primary electrical feed delivers stable AC 110V/220V power at 50/60 Hz to the internal power terminal blocks. Operating conditions must remain within the specified -20°C to 70°C working temperature range and 5% to 95% relative humidity. For outdoor installations, ensure an adequate overhead shelter is installed to protect the SUS304 stainless steel and acrylic lid construction from direct rain ingress.
