Industrial and Commercial Applications for SOLT SR5-BPR RF Repeater

Multi-Ward Healthcare Facilities and Clinical Calling Systems

In hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, reliable signal transmission between patient beds and nursing stations is critical for patient response times. The SOLT SR5-BPR RF transceiver repeater addresses RF attenuation caused by thick concrete partitions, radiology shielding, and extended ward corridors. By functioning as an active signal booster operating at 433 MHz with a TCXO-based RF circuit and FSK modulation, the unit captures transmissions from SOLT SB series call buttons (such as SB3, SB5, SB6, and SB7) and rebroadcasts them with a 10 mW maximum output power.

With support for up to 999 call buttons, a single repeater or a multi-unit network covers sprawling healthcare wards, forwarding urgent calls directly to SM series central display receivers (SM3, SM7) and SP series attendant mobile pagers (SP5, SP7) without packet dropouts.

Expansive Hospitality Venues, Resorts, and Outdoor Leisure Complexes

Large hospitality environments—such as multi-tier restaurants, beach clubs, pool areas, golf courses, yacht clubs, and sprawling hotel properties—frequently suffer from blind spots due to wide physical separation between service stations and guest seating. The SR5-BPR bridges vast outdoor-to-indoor distances by receiving weak transmissions from peripheral dining tables or cabanas and retransmitting them cleanly to attendant stations.

Because the unit allows consecutive over-the-air bell ID registration using its rear 1.3-inch LCD interface, hospitality operators can deploy hundreds of call points across diverse dining decks and outdoor service zones without complex manual wiring or localized configuration bottlenecks.

Corporate Campuses, Multi-Story Commercial Offices, and Conference Rooms

High-density commercial office spaces, conference facilities, and multi-floor corporate headquarters encounter signal degradation across inter-floor slabs, structural pillars, and glass partitions. The SR5-BPR solves floor-to-floor signal drop between meeting room call buttons and administration monitoring hubs, service desks, or PC monitoring modems (SR5-MPR/SR5-MPRT).

To maintain signal integrity in multi-repeater campus deployments, the unit features selectable transmission delay time and duplicate call restriction time. These parameters prevent ping-pong packet looping and repeater bounce when multiple SR5-BPR units operate simultaneously across adjacent conference floors.

Distributed System Architecture Deployment

The compact 146 mm x 90 mm x 32 mm housing weighs 114 g to 116 g and mounts directly to flat walls or ceilings midway between calling devices and base receivers. Because it operates continuously via a dedicated external AC 110–240 V to DC 12 V, 1 A power adapter, facility engineers avoid the maintenance overhead of scheduled battery replacements on network infrastructure nodes. An unlimited quantity of SR5-BPR units can be integrated into a single facility infrastructure to construct a robust, fully scalable calling architecture.
