The SOLT SP7-100 mobile wrist-watch paging receiver is engineered for direct interoperability across unified SOLT on-site wireless notification networks. Designed to operate as a personal alerting terminal within healthcare, hospitality, and commercial facilities, the receiver processes radio frequency broadcasts from up to 1,000 registered calling transmitters without requiring a host PC controller.
Radio Frequency and Wireless Signaling Protocol
The SP7-100 operates on the 433 MHz frequency spectrum, spanning 433.0500 MHz to 434.7900 MHz using Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) and Gaussian Frequency Shift Keying (GFSK) modulation. An internal helical antenna enables 360-degree omnidirectional signal reception across an unassisted working distance of 100 to 150 meters in open line-of-sight environments. In complex facilities with physical RF attenuation, signal range can be scaled via network repeaters.
Calling Transmitter and Push-Button Compatibility
The SP7-100 mobile receiver supports registration of up to 1,000 transmitter IDs. It provides native firmware compatibility with SOLT single-key, multi-key, and call-cancel push buttons:
- SOLT SB3 Series: Compact wireless call buttons used for standard table service, alert dispatch, and attendant call points.
- SOLT SB7 Series: Multi-function alert and service transmitters featuring dedicated call and cancel mechanisms.
- SOLT SB9 Series: Industrial and commercial call buttons suited for harsh or high-frequency operating environments.
Each registered button can be designated with an alphanumeric ID up to 6 characters in length on the 0.9-inch 96 x 64 pixel FSTN LCD screen. Button pairing is completed over-the-air through consecutive bell ID registration. System managers can also selectively disable signal reception from specific buttons during active operational shifts without deleting device configurations from memory.
Range Extension and Central Display Integration
To integrate across multi-floor hospitals, vast production floors, or multi-zone commercial properties, the SP7-100 coordinates with the following SOLT infrastructure components:
- SOLT SR5-BPR Repeaters: Wireless signal repeaters deployed to relay 433 MHz signals beyond the standard 100–150 meter open-field boundary, eliminating dead zones in RF-attenuated architecture.
- SOLT SM3 Series Master Corridor Displays: The SP7-100 functions concurrently alongside fixed-mount alphanumeric displays (including models SM3-23PC and SM3-33PC), allowing wall-mounted displays and roaming staff wrist receivers to capture identical event triggers simultaneously.
Data Cloning and Power Interface Standards
Fleet deployment is streamlined through wired data-copy functionality. System settings, assigned alert modes (sound, vibration, or sound + vibration), and alphanumeric bell lists can be replicated directly from one SP7-100 to another using an optional device-to-device data cloning cable. The receiver recharges its internal 3.7V 250 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery (they are not included) via a standard micro-USB interface connected to a 5V DC USB power port or AC/DC adapter, with on-screen battery (they are not included) indicators providing charge status monitoring.
