System Compatibility & Hardware Integration

SOLT Wireless System Architecture Compatibility

The SOLT SB7 (model SB7-1PBK) single-button calling bell is engineered for seamless native integration across the proprietary SOLT wireless communication ecosystem. Utilizing Frequency Shift Keying (FSK / GFSK) modulation over the 433 MHz radio frequency spectrum, the transmitter interfaces directly with central supervisory displays, wearable mobile pagers, and RF signal extension hardware without protocol converters or auxiliary transceivers.

Compatible Receiving and Relaying Equipment

The transmitter functions within coordinated call-and-alert infrastructures and natively interfaces with standard SOLT receiving equipment:

  • SOLT SM3 Central LED Display Receivers: Communicates directly with SM3 series digital master receivers to register, display, and organize active location alerts and call queue sequencing in central control stations.
  • SOLT SP5 and SP7 Mobile Wrist Watch Pagers: Transmits real-time alert data to SP5 and SP7 digital wrist receivers, notifying mobile supervisors, attendants, nursing staff, or service personnel instantly via vibration and display readouts.
  • SOLT SR5 Signal Repeaters: Operates in direct coordination with SR5 wireless repeaters to retransmit 433 MHz radio packets across multi-floor complexes, large campus layouts, or high-density structural environments subject to RF attenuation.

Channel Integrity and Addressing Compatibility

To ensure collision-free operation within large-scale multi-unit installations, the SB7 is allocated a unique hardware Bell ID selected from a pool of 16 million distinct identification codes. This wide addressing range prevents signal cross-talk, duplicate triggering, and channel interference between closely installed units or neighboring facilities operating on matching frequencies. The integrated internal PCB antenna delivers 360-degree omnidirectional RF radiation patterns, ensuring consistent signal transmission regardless of the physical orientation in which the button is mounted.

Workflow and Functional Mode Alignment

The unit is configured for calling operations alongside paired cancel logic. When pressed, the unit initiates an immediate dispatch to designated receiving consoles or pagers, confirmed by dual indirect perimeter LED indicators located on the top and bottom circular rims. In paired cancel system configurations, corresponding cancel commands register through the network to acknowledge and clear outstanding events from active display logs once staff members attend to the station.

Mounting Substrate and Physical Integration

Featuring an ultra-compact circular profile measuring 60 mm in diameter by 15 mm to 16 mm in height and weighing 29 grams, the SB7 integrates onto horizontal or vertical flat surfaces using double-sided adhesive mounting pads or mechanical surface fixtures. With a hermetically sealed IPX8 waterproof housing and an anti-bacterial urethane exterior, the button maintains signal integrity and mechanical stability across wet tables, bar counters, outdoor terrace furnishings, SPA treatment consoles, and hospital sanitization points. Power is supplied independently by 2 x CR2032 lithium coin cell batteries (they are not included), eliminating the need for hardwired electrical enclosures.
