Industrial and Commercial Application Environments

The Prolite Maintained LED Emergency Exit Light is engineered to deliver uninterrupted visual guidance across domestic, commercial, and industrial facilities in conformance with Indian Standard IS 10322. Constructed with a uniformly extruded aluminum alloy housing finished in white epoxy polyester powder coating and a CAD-designed 6 mm clear acrylic diffuser panel, the luminaire connects to standard ~230 V AC, 50 Hz utility mains (±10% tolerance) through a 5 A, 250 V electrical-grade PCB-mount terminal connector. In standard operational mode, the multiple LEDs—sourced from GMR Light, Bridgelux, Edison, or Osram—provide continuous illumination. Upon loss of primary utility power, the solid-state changeover circuit automatically switches to an internal Lithium-ion rechargeable battery (they are not included), sustaining illumination for 180 minutes (±10%) before recharging via its onboard constant current charger over a 16 to 24-hour cycle.

Hotel Corridors and Hospitality Egress Routes

In hospitality facilities and corporate accommodations, continuous path-of-travel illumination along corridors is essential for occupant navigation and life-safety protocols. Operating as a maintained luminaire, the unit remains constantly illuminated under normal conditions, ensuring immediate wayfinding comprehension. If a distribution board trips or a blackout occurs, the automatic changeover seamlessly maintains visibility along extended hotel corridors. With overall dimensions of 300 mm width, 180 mm height, and 25 mm depth (with a 55 mm upper housing section) and a total weight under 1 kg, the fixture mounts unobtrusively along guest hallways without imposing structural strain on wall partitions or ceiling grids.

Commercial Complexes and Architectural Information Displays

Specified for illuminated emergency indicators and lit information boards across commercial premises, corporate offices, and institutional buildings, the fixture provides primary navigation markings. The CAD-printed 6 mm clear acrylic sheet delivers clean, high-contrast messaging legible under both normal interior lighting and full blackout conditions. Utilizing 2 integrated mounting keyholes, electrical installation teams can securely mount the luminaire directly to vertical walls or ceiling slabs adjacent to primary ingress and egress doors, passage intersections, and fire-escape routes.

Enclosed Stairwells and Vertical Evacuation Shafts

Emergency staircases require reliable illumination during power outages to prevent tripping hazards and ensure safe descent. The luminaire's 180-minute operational duration on Lithium-ion rechargeable battery (they are not included) power ensures emergency guidance across landing platforms, fire exit doors, and transfer lobbies throughout extended power interruptions. Its slim 25 mm lower depth prevents obstruction along narrow stairwell paths, preserving clear egress width.

Underground Parking Structures

Subterranean parking garages and basement transit zones lack natural daylight and require continuous directional guidance along drive lanes and pedestrian exit tunnels. The luminaire delivers steady egress marking to direct drivers and pedestrians toward safety exits during primary supply failures. Because the luminaire carries an IP20 ingress protection rating, deployment in underground parking structures is strictly intended for dry, sheltered indoor locations protected from water sprays, vehicular wash zones, and pipe condensation.

Auxiliary Utility Spaces and Battery (they are not included) Rooms

In critical support infrastructure—such as electrical distribution rooms, switchgear enclosures, and designated battery (they are not included) rooms—uninterrupted illumination is essential for maintenance engineers to locate manual isolation controls or navigate toward exits during electrical disruptions. When utility line voltage drops, the unit immediately engages emergency illumination. Once normal ~230 V AC mains voltage resumes, the luminaire automatically switches back to utility power while simultaneously initiating its 16 to 24-hour charging cycle to replenish the Lithium-ion rechargeable battery (they are not included).
