Industrial, Outdoor, and Fleet Deployment Applications

The Ahuja UHC-30 (KT ERP Ref: KTI14004007UH30, HSN: 85319000) is a low-impedance PA horn speaker engineered for acoustic efficiency, speech clarity, and high sound penetration in demanding environments. Featuring a 30W RMS (45W Max) power handling capacity, an 8Ω voice coil, and an output level of 108 dB/1W/1m (up to 123 dB/30W/1m), this unit is built for deployments requiring high intelligibility across wide operating perimeters.

Industrial Plant Paging and Perimeter Annunciation

In manufacturing plants, process yards, logistics hubs, and heavy fabrication workshops, background ambient noise can severely degrade standard loudspeaker audibility. Operating across a focused 240 Hz to 10,000 Hz frequency response band, the UHC-30 concentrates acoustic energy within the primary vocal frequency range. Its robust metal mounting bracket supports 270° rotational adjustment, enabling system engineers to precisely aim broadcasts toward work bays, outdoor loading docks, or open material handling yards.

Outdoor Public Address and Facility Notification

Permanent outdoor sound reinforcement requires mechanical resilience against weather exposure. The Ahuja UHC-30 features a bell, reflector flare, and back cover molded in UV-protected ABS plastic, combined with stainless steel external stand mounting bolts. Certified to an IP66 ingress protection rating, the horn protects internal driver components against fine dust penetration and high-pressure water jets, making it suitable for sports grounds, bus terminals, perimeter walls, and outdoor security checkpoints.

Mobile Announcements, Fleet Vehicles, and Marine Craft

With a compact footprint of ø313 x L285 mm and a net weight of 1.98 kg, the UHC-30 is suitable for mobile installations such as emergency broadcast vehicles, utility service trucks, and marine boat decks. The integrated 0.6 m (2 ft) 2-core sheathed connection cable is secured through a water-tight, tug-proof cable gland to withstand mechanical vibration and continuous movement.

Emergency Alerting and Siren Interfacing

Compliant with the EN 60065 Low Voltage Directive standard, the UHC-30 integrates into low-impedance public address and emergency broadcast racks. Voice coils precision-wound on aluminium bobbins facilitate efficient heat dissipation during sustained alert tones, evacuation voice announcements, and continuous plant messaging.

  • Direct Low-Impedance Drive: 8Ω impedance matches low-impedance PA mixer-amplifiers and standalone power amplifiers with 4Ω–8Ω output taps.
  • High Acoustic SPL: Delivers 123 dB at 30W/1m for effective sound throw across noisy facilities.
  • Harsh Environment Protection: IP66 housing with UV-protected ABS components and stainless steel hardware for outdoor installations.
