To service the hopper, disengage the slide-in fitment from the impact-resistant polymer chassis, lift the container using its integrated handling points, and empty the collected dry waste into designated plant disposal bins. Wipe down the hopper seating frame before sliding the container back into the structural chassis to ensure positive latching and seal alignment.
Main Roller and Side Disc Brush Maintenance
The mechanical sweeping assembly combines a 500 mm horizontal cylindrical central roller brush with circular rotating side disc brushes, providing an overall sweeping path of 920 mm. - Height Alignment: Adjust the side disc brush contact height relative to floor contours. Incorrect ground pressure results in uneven sweeping tracks, skipped debris along paver block joints or trimix expansion grooves, and premature bristle wear.
- Brush Pattern Inspection: Regularly verify that the main central brush maintains uniform contact with the floor surface across its entire 500 mm width to preserve rated sweeping productivity up to 3600 m²/hr.
Integrated Polyester Plate Filter Care
The manual sweeper incorporates an integrated polyester plate dust filter designed to trap fine airborne particulate matter, sawdust, fine sand, and dry industrial dust during sweeping cycles. Over time, heavy dust accumulation can restrict internal airflow and reduce dust containment efficiency.
Remove the polyester plate filter element periodically for dry cleaning. Gently tap the filter frame against a flat surface or use dry, low-pressure compressed air to dislodge fine dust cake from the filter pleats. Do not strike the plate filter against sharp edges, as compromising the filter structure allows fine dust bypass into the chassis mechanisms.
3-Wheel Chassis and Mechanical Drive Inspection
Because the FS 800 operates entirely via a manual walk-behind push drive without electric motors or batteries, free rotation of the 3-wheel chassis and internal drive gears is critical for smooth pushing effort.
