Loudspeaker Load and Output Tap Compatibility

The Hitune Bass HTZA-2000 2-zone public address mixer amplifier (SKU: KTI140020012JAH) is engineered to interface directly with diverse commercial and industrial loudspeaker loads across two independently managed zones. Each zone provides dedicated output terminals supporting both low-impedance circuits and distributed high-impedance speaker networks. Installers can match loudspeaker configurations to either 4Ω or 8Ω direct taps, or route signals over long cable runs using constant-voltage 70V and 100V taps.

For distributed background music and voice evacuation networks, the 70V and 100V lines interface seamlessly with wall speakers, ceiling speakers, and column speakers equipped with line matching transformers (LMT). The amplifier delivers 100W RMS per zone at 10% THD (130W maximum per zone, totaling 200W rated capacity), allowing system designers to sum transformer wattage taps up to the rated capacity per zone without overloading output stages.

Audio Source and Front-End Input Interfacing

The unit features comprehensive input connectivity designed to support mixed-signal commercial sound reinforcement environments:

  • Microphone Inputs: Six dedicated microphone input channels rated at 0.6mV sensitivity with a 4.7kΩ input impedance, compatible with standard dynamic microphones for live voice announcements, paging consoles, and podium setups.
  • Auxiliary Inputs: Two auxiliary inputs rated at 100mV sensitivity and 470kΩ impedance, matching standard line-level playback devices such as CD players, digital media streamers, radio tuners, and auxiliary audio mixers.
  • Stereo Input: One dedicated stereo L/R input channel rated at 250mV sensitivity and 47kΩ impedance, accommodating stereo external source equipment and pre-recorded programming sources.
  • Frequency and Tone Shaping: Accepts audio across an operating frequency response of 50 Hz to 15,000 Hz (±3dB) with master tone equalization handling ±10dB at 100Hz (Bass) and ±10dB at 10kHz (Treble) for matched vocal articulation and music clarity.

Power Infrastructure and Backup Power Compatibility

The HTZA-2000 provides dual-mode power supply flexibility for continuous industrial and institutional sound operations. It runs on standard AC mains utility power and incorporates terminals for external 24V DC battery power systems (they are not included). This 24V DC battery supply compatibility (they are not included) ensures continuous public address operation and uninterrupted emergency paging during central AC grid failures or planned generator switchovers.

Zone Routing and Application Suitability

Operating as a dual-zone system, the amplifier supports simultaneous mono operation across two distinct speaker groups. This dual-zone routing enables separate volume and power level management between indoor and outdoor areas, distinct assembly halls, or partitioned commercial sections. The electrical and physical platform (500 mm W x 140 mm H x 340 mm D; weight 17.4 kg) is optimized for tabletop placement or rack shelf integration within commercial sound racks, institutional venues, and houses of worship.
