What onboard input, output, and reader interfaces are provided on the C3-200?

Answer:
The C3-200 provides 6 onboard inputs (2 exit device, 2 door status sensor, and 2 auxiliary inputs) and 4 Form-C relay outputs (2 dedicated lock relays and 2 auxiliary relays). It supports up to 8 readers using either 4 RS-485 readers or 4 26-bit Wiegand readers.

The C3-200 access controller manages two physical doors independently with comprehensive point-to-point field termination terminals. The board integrates 6 dedicated digital inputs configured as 2 request-to-exit push button circuits, 2 door position magnetic sensor circuits, and 2 auxiliary inputs for external alarms, motion sensors, or trigger linkages.

For peripheral control, the board includes 4 Form-C relay outputs rated with Normally Open (NO), Normally Closed (NC), and Common (COM) dry contacts: 2 are allocated for primary lock operation (electromagnetic locks, electric strikes, or drop bolts) and 2 function as auxiliary relays for triggering sirens, strobe lights, or external automation panels. The reader bus accommodates up to 8 readers in total, supporting configurations of up to 4 RS-485 serial readers or up to 4 standard 26-bit Wiegand readers for bidirectional entry and exit control.
