FAQ

Which safety sensors, loop detectors, and external controllers interface with the BGL-100 barrier?

Answer:
The barrier's internal controller accepts standard dry contact control signals and includes onboard input terminals for inductive loop detectors, safety photocells, and pneumatic air switches. It interfaces directly with third-party access control panels, RFID readers, and push-button consoles.

The BGL-100 internal control board is designed for flexible integration into modern parking and access management infrastructures:

  • Input Control Signals: Driven via voltage-free dry contact inputs for open, close, and stop trigger commands.
  • Safety Interlocks: Dedicated input interfaces support photocell safety beams, inductive roadway loop detectors, and air switches to prevent accidental closure onto passing vehicles.
  • Integrated Control Panel: Features a built-in 3-button manual switch panel (UP, DOWN, STOP) inside the housing for on-site commissioning and manual testing.
  • Access Integration: Compatible with external stand-alone access control units, central access control panels, long-range UHF RFID readers, biometric terminals, and wired security desk push buttons.
  • Reversal System: Features optional bumping bounce-back safety reversal upon contact with an obstacle.
