FAQ

What door hardware, communication interfaces, and management software work with the eSSL AiFace-Neptune?

Answer:
The terminal provides direct access control relays for third-party electric strikes, electro-magnetic locks, door sensors, and exit buttons. It communicates over TCP/IP, built-in Wi-Fi, and USB Host, and integrates natively with eTimeTracklite attendance management software.

The eSSL AiFace-Neptune terminal is built to integrate into existing industrial, commercial, and enterprise physical security infrastructures:

  • Access Control Peripheral Interface: Features dedicated on-board wiring terminals to interface directly with 3rd-party electric locks, electro-magnetic (EM) locks, door position sensors, and request-to-exit buttons.
  • Network & Data Communication: Offers dual connectivity through hardwired 10/100M TCP/IP Ethernet and integrated Wi-Fi for wireless local area network deployments. A built-in USB Host port enables manual data offload and log retrieval via standard USB flash drives.
  • Card Technology Compatibility: Can be factory-configured with optional 125KHz EM ID card modules or 13.56MHz Mifare IC card modules.
  • Supported Software: Natively compatible with eSSL eTimeTracklite time attendance and access management software for centralized employee scheduling, multi-shift tracking, and access rule assignment.
  • Mounting Compatibility: Designed for standard wall-mounting using the supplied back plate, optional wall-mounting using a rear cable box, or desktop placement using the cable box base.
