Industrial and Commercial Application Environments for Ahuja SSA-250DP

Industrial Plant Paging and Perimeter Horn Systems

The Ahuja SSA-250DP delivers 250W RMS (300W maximum) rated power output, engineered to drive distributed acoustic horn networks in manufacturing shop floors, processing yards, logistics warehouses, and industrial perimeters. When operating reflex horns or driver units over extended cable runs, the unit utilizes its 70V and 100V high-voltage constant distribution line taps. Installers engage the dedicated Box Speaker/Driver Unit selector switch in the Driver Unit position, which automatically defeats low-frequency bass boost (±10dB at 100Hz) to prevent mechanical diaphragm over-excursion and thermal overload in horn driver units.

For mission-critical industrial facilities where operational paging and safety dispatch must remain active during power interruptions, the amplifier features an instantaneous automatic switchover to 24V DC backup power via 2 x 12V external car batteries (they are not included). Drawing 6A DC at full load, this continuous operational capability ensures plant emergency messaging and shift coordination remain intact during primary AC mains (220–240V 50/60Hz) failure.

Educational Campuses, Auditoriums, and Assembly Halls

With an integrated front-panel mixer supporting 6 microphone inputs (0.65mV/4.7kΩ), 2 auxiliary inputs (100mV/470kΩ), and 1 line input (1V/50kΩ), the SSA-250DP functions as a central audio hub for school auditoriums, lecture halls, and institutional multipurpose spaces. The wide frequency response of 50 Hz to 15,000 Hz (±3dB) and 60dB signal-to-noise ratio provide clear speech intelligibility and balanced acoustic reproduction for multi-speaker panels, stage presentations, and podium microphones.

Audio engineers can connect external mixing consoles directly into the 1V/50kΩ Line Input or route the preamplifier stage output (200mV/600Ω) and line output (1V/1kΩ) to secondary booster amplifiers to expand sound coverage across large indoor seating tiers without loading the primary power stage. The line output also enables direct integration with external hardware for programme recording.

Places of Worship and Multi-Zone Community Facilities

Places of worship demand precise vocal transmission combined with background musical accompaniment. The built-in digital media player allows direct playback of recorded audio from USB flash drives and SD/MMC memory cards, alongside wireless playback via the integrated Bluetooth facility. Independent bass (±10dB at 100Hz) and treble (±10dB at 10kHz) cut/boost controls allow acoustic matching to reverberant halls, minimizing low-end rumble while enhancing vocal clarity across 4Ω or 8Ω low-impedance speaker setups and 100V line-matching transformer (LMT) column arrays.

Commercial Complexes and Centralized Background Music (BGM)

In commercial facilities, shopping centers, and office buildings, the SSA-250DP drives distributed 100V line-matching ceiling speaker networks. The rear-panel resettable thermal-magnetic circuit breaker protects internal transformer and output stage components from field wiring faults, line short circuits, or impedance mismatching without requiring fuse replacement, ensuring continuous operation in multi-speaker commercial infrastructure.
