Parallel multi-unit installations require a minimum clearance of 50 cm between two detectors and over 80 cm when deploying three or more units. Each unit must be configured on a separate operating channel among the 14 available frequency channels to avoid cross-talk interference.

When integrating the ZKTeco ZK-D1010L into multi-lane checkpoint architectures, strictly adhere to the following environmental and layout guidelines:

  • Multi-Unit Parallel Spacing: Maintain at least 50 cm between two side-by-side units and a minimum of 80 cm between each unit when installing three or more detectors in a single checkpoint lane.
  • Channel Allocation: Assign different operating frequency channels (1 to 14 within the 3 kHz to 8 kHz spectrum) to adjacent walk-through units to eliminate mutual electromagnetic cross-talk.
  • Stationary Metal Clearance: Position the arch frame at least 50 cm away from large fixed metal structures (e.g., aluminum or stainless steel doors/window mullions).
  • Moving Metal Objects: Maintain a minimum 2-meter buffer from large portable or moving metallic items to eliminate false triggers.
  • Electromagnetic Separation: Ensure a minimum distance of 1 meter from high-interference devices such as electrical control panels, inverters, motors, and communication transmitters.
