System Compatibility and Hardware Interoperability

The ZKTeco LH3000 standalone electronic hotel door lock is engineered to integrate cleanly into hospitality access control infrastructures. Compatibility spans across smart card credential architectures, physical door preparation standards, front-desk issuing hardware, and dedicated hotel management software.

RFID Card and Contactless Credential Compatibility

The internal contactless reader of the LH3000 operates at the 13.56 MHz frequency using advanced Mifare-1 (IC-1) technology. The lock firmware and antenna circuitry comply strictly with the ISO14443 Type-A smart card communication standard.

Supported credential formats and memory types include:

  • Mifare Classic S50 (1KB): Standard contactless cards partitioned for guest keycards, floor restriction mapping, and short-term operational credentials.
  • Mifare Classic S70 (4KB): Extended-capacity smart cards suitable for multi-sector implementations, master administrative keys, and staff maintenance badges.
  • ISO14443 Type-A Media: Transponders matching 13.56 MHz Type-A communication parameters encoded through the authorized management platform.

Physical Door and Mortise Hardware Compatibility

Mechanical installation requires alignment with standard commercial door preparations. The LH3000 is supplied with a robust American standard mortise assembly configured with 5 latches to provide physical security and reliable deadlocking.

Mechanical compatibility specifications:

  • Door Thickness Range: Compatible with door leaves measuring from 35 mm to 55 mm in thickness, accommodating standard timber, composite, and hollow-metal hotel room doors.
  • Lock Backset: Requires a mortise pocket prepared for a standard 62.5 mm backset dimension.
  • Mortise Standard: American standard 5-latch mortise configuration, requiring appropriate door stile width and edge mortising.
  • Door Assembly Weight Capacity: The stainless steel lock trim has a net weight of 3 kg and requires sturdy hinge hardware on the host door frame.

Hotel Management Software and Card Encoder Integration

The LH3000 functions within a centralized guest management environment driven by ZKBiolock Hotel Lock System management software. The software suite provides single-click installation to streamline administrative deployment across front-desk PC workstations.

System programming and card issuance rely on the following hardware and management components:

  • Management Platform: ZKBiolock Hotel Lock System software for room assignment, check-in/check-out credential lifecycle management, time-validity programming, and audit trail retrieval.
  • Card Encoding Hardware: Compatible with the dedicated CR60W card encoder (available separately) for desktop read/write operations on 13.56 MHz Mifare S50/S70 cards.
  • Audit Data Retrieval: Interoperable with system data cards to extract the internal audit trail log, which records the latest 224 lock transactions for security verification.

Environmental and Power Compatibility

The lock is rated for indoor and sheltered corridor operating environments with an ambient temperature profile of 0 °C to 45 °C. The unit operates via an autonomous internal battery (they are not included) power supply, providing audible low-power warning beeps to alert facility teams when the battery cells (they are not included) require replacement.
