System Compatibility and Protocol Integration

The ZKTeco F09 multi-biometric access control and intercom terminal (SKU: KTI01002003F09W) provides comprehensive protocol support across IP video networks, surveillance infrastructure, management software platforms, and physical door hardware. Engineered for seamless field deployment, the terminal integrates standard TCP/IP networking, SIP communication, and ONVIF surveillance standards into existing commercial and industrial security ecosystems.

SIP Video Intercom and Indoor Monitor Interoperability

Operating as a SIP Client (Version 2.0), the F09 terminal interfaces directly with VoIP PBX servers and IP video door phone systems. It supports high-definition two-way video intercom functionality and is natively compatible with ZKTeco SIP indoor video monitors, including models VT07-B01, VT07-B01-W, VT07-B22L, and VT07-B26L-W. The integrated 1MP WDR binocular camera, 8-ohm 1W speaker, and omnidirectional microphone (-32 dB sensitivity, 2.2 kΩ impedance) provide clear two-way communication directly to reception stations or security operator desks.

ONVIF Video Management Systems (VMS & NVR) Compatibility

For unified physical security monitoring, the F09 features open ONVIF compliance, enabling network video recorders (NVRs) and third-party Video Management Systems (VMS) to discover, stream, and log video directly from the door terminal. The unit conforms to multiple ONVIF profiles:

  • ONVIF Profile S & Profile T: Video streaming, H.264/H.265 media ingestion, and motion/tamper alarm event handling.
  • ONVIF Profile G: Edge storage integration and remote search capabilities.
  • ONVIF Profile C & Profile A: Access control system management and physical point event monitoring.
  • ONVIF Profile Q: Quick device discovery and initial configuration on IP networks.

Software Platform and Push Protocol Compatibility

The F09 firmware features switchable communication protocols supporting both Access Control Push (AC Push) and Time Attendance Push (TA Push). This enables direct real-time data sync with centralized ZKTeco enterprise software suites, including:

  • ZKBio CVSecurity: Comprehensive security and access control management.
  • BioTime Cloud 2.0 & Easy TimePro: Cloud and on-premise multi-branch attendance tracking.
  • Intelligent Time, ZKBio Zlink, & ZKBio Zexus: Unified workforce time and access administration.

Backend administration is secured via encrypted HTTPS and SSH communication protocols, ensuring secure credential updates and log transfers over local area networks or wide area networks.

Credential and Hardware Interface Compatibility

The terminal features dual-mode RFID architecture, equipped standard with a 125 kHz ID card reading module and supporting an optional 13.56 MHz IC card reader module. For direct physical door automation, the unit provides hardware interfaces for 1 x Electric Lock relay, 1 x Door Sensor input, 1 x Exit Button interface, and an integrated tamper switch alarm. For offline synchronization or manual record extraction, the onboard USB Type-A port supports USB flash storage formatted exclusively in FAT32.
