Installation Guidelines for Wallpro Trolley Guard SF 92 TG

The Wallpro Trolley Guard SF 92 TG (Model: SF-92-TG / SKU: KTI16007002WPTG) is engineered as a precision two-part modular wall and trolley protection profile system designed for mechanical mounting across facility walls, structural columns, and pillar edges. Proper installation establishes structural stability and impact absorption across high-traffic environments, including hospital clinical corridors, commercial kitchens, hotel service passageways, baggage handling zones, parking garages, and elderly care facilities.

Pre-Installation Preparation & Substrate Compatibility

Before commencing installation, assess the target mounting surface. The Wallpro SF-92-TG profile is compatible with flat masonry, concrete columns, plastered brickwork, and reinforced drywall partition structures. Ensure the substrate is plumb, structurally sound, clean, dry, and free from loose plaster, grease, or debris. Establish the required mounting datum line along the wall or pillar face based on the operational bumper height of facility carts, gurneys, stretchers, or vehicles.

Step-by-Step Assembly and Mounting Procedure

The installation is executed via a sequential two-part assembly process utilizing the heavy-duty extruded aluminium retainer track and the Thermo-E-Polymer impact buffer profile:

  • Base Channel Layout & Fixing: Position the 92 mm x 11 mm extruded aluminium retainer track (featuring a 2 mm overall wall thickness and 15-micron anodised treatment) along the marked datum line. Standard stock profile sections run up to 8 feet in length, or custom site-cut lengths as specified. Mark mechanical fastening points along the pre-drilled or specified anchoring layout.
  • Anchoring to Substrate: Drill pilot holes into the substrate using appropriate masonry or drywall drill bits. Secure the aluminium retainer track firmly against the wall using heavy-duty mechanical anchors, ensuring true horizontal alignment and flush contact against the mounting surface.
  • Buffer Profile Insertion: Align the Thermo-E-Polymer buffer profile (dimensions: 87 mm width x 35 mm height, 4 mm outer wall thickness, and 6 mm internal supporting beam) over the mounted 92 mm x 11 mm aluminium base track. Press and snap the polymer buffer securely into the aluminium channel geometry, confirming full engagement along the entire run.
  • Reflector Strip Integration: Seat the continuous 5 mm diameter PVC reflector strip into the integrated top profile channel. Press firmly into place to provide high-visibility visual delineation along the top edge of the guard.

Post-Installation Verification & Maintenance Handover

Inspect the completed run to confirm continuous locking between the Thermo-E-Polymer buffer and the aluminium retainer profile. Check that no gaps or misalignments exist at section joints or pillar edges. Because the material formulation is UV-resistant, water-resistant, and scratch-resistant, the installed profile requires no post-fitting chemical coatings; initial cleaning can be performed directly using standard commercial detergents and water.
