For mobile or remote deployments without accessible AC mains, the unit operates from its integrated 11.1V 2200mAh (2.2Ah) rechargeable Li-ion battery or via an external 12V DC power source using the dedicated 12V car battery terminal block. An internal auto cut-off circuit prevents battery damage caused by deep discharge. When connecting to AC power, check the charging LED indicator on the control interface to confirm active battery replenishment.
Audio Input and Signal Routing Connections
The unit features multiple source inputs that can be connected simultaneously and balanced using dedicated channel gain controls:
- Wired Microphones: Connect standard dynamic microphones to the 6.35 mm (1/4-inch) mono phone sockets labeled Mic-1 and Mic-2 (input sensitivity: 4mV / 4.7kΩ impedance).

Wireless Microphone Setup and RF Positioning
The system features a quartz-controlled fixed-frequency wireless receiver matched to the supplied handheld transmitter. To prepare the handheld transmitter (dimensions: Ø55 mm x L248 mm; weight: 180 g without cells), unscrew the lower battery compartment and insert 2 x 1.5V AA alkaline cells, observing correct polarity. Turn the power switch on and confirm that the integrated red LED illuminates to indicate active RF broadcast.

Avoid placing high-density metal structures or large electrical transformers directly between the transmitter and the trolley unit to prevent signal dropouts.
Acoustic Calibration and Digital Media Integration
Before powering up, set all rotary volume controls to minimum to prevent accidental feedback. Once the unit is powered, calibrate the output using the following sequence:
- Tone Adjustment: Tailor audio output using the active Bass control (±5dB at 100Hz) and Treble control (±5dB at 10kHz). Adjust the built-in digital echo control to suit speech or musical requirements.
- Microphone Priority: Engage the Mic Priority toggle switch when making safety announcements or executive briefings; this automatically attenuates background playback across digital and auxiliary channels when Mic-1 or the Wireless Mic is in use.
- Digital Media Configuration: Insert standard USB flash drives or MMC/TF memory cards formatted with MP3 audio files into their respective panel slots. - Output Clipping Prevention: Monitor the dedicated Clip LED indicator during high-volume operation. If the Clip LED flashes continuously, decrease channel gains or master volume to maintain signal clarity and protect the internal 8-inch (20.32 cm) dual-cone full-range speaker and 1.85-inch (4.7 cm) tweeter.
