Takara T-1112 Interface, Media, and Hardware Compatibility

The Takara T-1112 (Ref: KTI1400600T1112) active 12-inch portable PA trolley speaker system is engineered with a comprehensive range of analog, digital, RF wireless, and electrical interfaces. This broad input/output architecture allows commercial operators, event coordinators, and facility managers to integrate the 60-watt sound reinforcement system seamlessly into existing audiovisual frameworks, corporate multimedia setups, and mobile public address deployments without requiring external mixers or outboard preamplification.

Wireless and Digital Media Storage Compatibility

The unit features integrated Bluetooth connectivity for high-fidelity wireless audio streaming from compatible host devices, including enterprise laptops, smartphones, tablets, and dedicated wireless multimedia transmitters. For direct offline playback and voice recording, the internal media player supports a wide array of solid-state storage hardware:

  • USB Storage: Integrated USB host port compatible with USB 3.0 flash drives and thumb drives for direct MP3 and WMA audio playback as well as direct-to-drive voice and karaoke recording.
  • Memory Card Formats: Multi-format hardware interface supporting MicroSD cards, TransFlash (TF) cards, standard SD memory cards, MultiMediaCards (MMC), and SmartMedia cards.
  • Broadcast Tuner: Built-in FM radio receiver for local broadcast monitoring and public audio relay.

Analog Audio and Live Instrument Interfacing

For hardwired line-level and instrument-level integration, the active amplifier control panel provides dedicated physical input jacks designed for plug-and-play operation:

  • Auxiliary Line Input: Standard 3.5 mm AUX input jack facilitating analog line-level connections from personal computers, mixing consoles, television monitors, mobile media players, and external audio interfaces.
  • Musical Instrument Input: Dedicated 6.35 mm (1/4-inch) jack input engineered for active or passive electric guitars, acoustic-electric guitars, synthesizers, and electronic keyboards.
  • Secondary Microphone Input: Additional 6.35 mm (1/4-inch) input port allowing simultaneous connection of an external wired dynamic microphone alongside the wireless mic channels.

RF Wireless Transmission and Microphone Interfacing

The Takara T-1112 includes an integrated dual-channel UHF wireless microphone receiver module configured to communicate directly with the two supplied UHF handheld cordless microphones. The factory-matched UHF link delivers stable vocal transmission with reduced RF interference, operating independently of the 6.35 mm wired microphone input to allow multi-speaker or presenter configurations.

Electrical and Dual-Source Power Compatibility

Designed for mission-critical reliability across diverse indoor and remote field environments, the power management system supports multiple supply configurations:

  • Internal Battery Operation: Built-in rechargeable lead-acid battery delivering 4 to 5 hours of continuous runtime per 3-hour recharge cycle.
  • AC Grid Power: Operates and charges directly via standard AC mains connections using the supplied charging cable.
  • External 12V DC Supply: Features dedicated external 12V DC terminal inputs allowing continuous operation via external 12V storage batteries, portable automotive battery systems, or external 12V DC field power packs.

Acoustic Stand and Mechanical Deployment Interfacing

The molded Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) enclosure is engineered for versatile physical deployment. The base of the cabinet incorporates a standard 35 mm bottom pole-mount socket, providing direct mechanical compatibility with standard commercial tripod speaker stands. For ground-level operation, the unit sits securely on integrated base feet and features built-in rear transport wheels paired with a retractable luggage-style trolley handle for transit across facilities.
