SOLT SB6-3XWH-1PSR System Compatibility & Network Integration

The SOLT SB6-3XWH-1PSR bed unit transmitter is engineered for interoperability within proprietary SOLT wireless nurse call and staff communication architectures. Operating on the 400 MHz frequency band via Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) low-power data transmission, the transmitter integrates into existing and newly deployed SOLT facilities without hardwired data cabling runs.

Compatibility with Central Display Receivers

The unit wirelessly interfaces with SOLT central corridor and nurse station numerical displays. It transmits call and cancel status commands directly to the SM3 series monitoring displays, supporting multi-bed and multi-ward patient monitoring infrastructures. Compatible display receivers include:

  • SM3-22PN: Numeric nurse station central alert display
  • SM3-23PC: Multi-call numeric receiver and indicator display
  • SM3-32PN & SM3-33PC: High-capacity multi-channel calling displays
  • SM3-61PC: Comprehensive multi-line facility monitoring display unit

Mobile Receivers and Wearable Pagers

For mobile healthcare personnel, the SB6-3XWH-1PSR communicates with SOLT on-site wireless wrist receivers. Alerts triggered from the bedside unit register with room and bed identifiers on the following portable pager series:

  • SP5 Series: Including the SP5-200 mobile digital receiver
  • SP7 Series: Including the SP7-100 alphanumeric wrist pager
  • SP9 Series: Wearable staff notification pagers

Signal Repeaters and Corridor Alert Hardware

In facilities requiring expanded wireless coverage or multi-story RF transmission, the transmitter communicates with intermediate system hardware:

  • SR5-BPR Signal Repeaters: Supports multi-stage RF repeater chains to relay 400 MHz FSK signals through structural concrete, firebreaks, and extended corridor layouts without dropped calls.
  • SL6 Corridor Lights: Compatible with over-door SL6 alert indicator lamps to provide synchronized local visual signaling outside patient rooms upon transmitter activation.

Cord Assemblies and Functional Configurations

The unit base is compatible with SOLT SB5 and SB6 ecosystem standards and incorporates dedicated interface options for bedside actuation:

  • Cable Assemblies: Direct connection to the 1 PSR cable assembly with handheld unit, supporting both curled (P) and straight (PS) 120 cm flexible cord profiles.
  • Functional Logic: Compatible with 2X (call/cancel) and 3X (2 call/cancel) button functional configurations.
  • Addressing Space: Programmed within a 16-million unique Bell ID address architecture, preventing channel collision and address overlapping when scaled alongside existing SB5 and SB6 call points in dense multi-bed wards.
  • Internal Power Source: Powered by 2 x CR2450 coin cell batteries (they are not included) to maintain autonomous wireless operation without external power feeds.
