FAQ

Which transmitters and peripheral devices are compatible with the Sewa K14S nurse call receiver panel?

Answer:
The K14S receiver pairs with up to 250 Sewa-compatible 433.92 MHz AM wireless call buttons, patient bedside long-cord units, and wireless personal or nurse wrist monitor receivers. Where battery-powered peripheral buttons or wrist units are deployed, batteries (they are not included) must be sourced separately.

The Sewa K14S serves as the central receiving hub in a wireless calling infrastructure operating on the 433.92 MHz (AM modulation) band. It supports pairing for up to 250 wireless transmitter nodes, allowing seamless integration across diverse ward calling peripherals:

  • Patient Bedside Cord Units: Fully compatible with long cord call buttons designed specifically for serious, immobile, or bed-bound patients.
  • Standard Wall/Headboard Buttons: Communicates with standard emergency wireless push-buttons mounted in patient rooms, accessible washrooms, or triage bays.
  • Mobile Nurse Monitoring: Integrates within wireless calling setups that incorporate personal or nurse wrist monitor pagers for roaming personnel.

Notice on field peripherals: The central K14S panel is mains-powered via a DC 12V 1A input. For any paired wireless calling transmitters or wrist units requiring external cells or batteries (they are not included), power cells must be acquired separately as standard consumables.
