Ahuja SSB-60EM Public Address Mixer Amplifier Industrial & Commercial Applications

The Ahuja SSB-60EM 60W PA Mixer Amplifier is engineered for dependable acoustic distribution across small-to-medium commercial, industrial, institutional, and mobile installations. Featuring a multi-input preamp mixer (4 dynamic microphone inputs and 1 auxiliary line input), dual AC/DC power options, and versatile 4Ω, 8Ω, 16Ω, and 100V speaker output taps, the SSB-60EM serves diverse deployment profiles requiring continuous speech clarity and background audio distribution.

Industrial Facilities, Workshops, and Warehouse Paging

In manufacturing plants, maintenance workshops, and logistics hubs, vocal intelligibility and operating resilience are critical. The SSB-60EM provides 60W RMS continuous power (at 5% THD, peaking up to 90W Max) to drive horn speakers and distributed column arrays across noisy shop floors. Plant supervisors can connect up to four dynamic microphones for direct departmental paging, voice dispatch, and shift change alerts. The built-in cut-type tone controls (-10 dB at 100 Hz for Bass and -10 dB at 10 kHz for Treble) allow operators to attenuate low-end acoustic rumble and high-end harshness, optimizing voice transmission across reflective factory interiors.

Educational Institutions, Auditoriums, and Assembly Areas

School campuses, lecture rooms, and training centers benefit from the amplifier's multi-microphone management and auxiliary routing:

  • Morning Assemblies & Multi-Speaker Panels: Connect up to four microphones simultaneously for podium speakers, administrators, and performers.
  • Audio-Visual Playback: The line-level Aux channel (100mV / 470kΩ, alternate to Mic 4) accommodates media players, laptops, or auxiliary mixers for educational audio reproduction.
  • Distributed Classroom Paging: The 100V line high-impedance output tap enables connection to multiple ceiling speakers equipped with line-matching transformers across extended cable runs without significant signal loss.

Places of Worship and Religious Facilities

Houses of worship require balanced acoustic coverage and versatile output routing. The SSB-60EM delivers a 50 Hz to 15,000 Hz (±3 dB) frequency response with a 60 dB signal-to-noise ratio, ensuring clear vocal delivery during services and sermons. The dedicated preamplifier output (200mV / 600Ω) allows direct interfacing with external recording decks to archive proceedings or feed secondary audio monitoring stations without disturbing primary speaker loads.

Mobile Broadcast and Vehicle Public Address

Designed with dual-source power flexibility, the SSB-60EM supports 220–240V AC mains operation (160VA) alongside a 12V DC input (3A draw). In mobile vehicle deployments—such as municipal announcement vans, emergency response vehicles, and transit information units—the amplifier runs directly off a 12V car battery (they are not included). For stationary installations subject to unstable grid power, the unit features automatic DC changeover terminals that instantly transfer power to a connected 12V backup battery (they are not included) during AC mains failure, maintaining uninterrupted public safety broadcasting.

System Expansion and Booster Integration

When venue expansion demands higher acoustic output than 60W RMS, system integrators can deploy the SSB-60EM as a master front-end control unit. The 200mV / 600Ω preamp output feeds high-wattage booster amplifiers to scale audio delivery across larger building zones while preserving centralized input volume and tone mixing.
