Each unit comes packaged with a dedicated 4.5-meter shielded cable terminating in a 3-pin XLR connector and a quick-detachable microphone holder designed for standard microphone stands and mounting hardware.
Inspect the 3-pin XLR connectors, shielding, and the dynamic capsule assembly for physical integrity prior to mounting. Because the AUD-59XLR is a dynamic microphone, it operates passively and does not require external phantom power or battery supplies to function within your PA chain.
Mechanical Mounting with the Quick-Detachable Holder
The supplied quick-detachable holder provides a secure mechanical grip while enabling rapid insertion and removal during live events, conferences, and industrial dispatch operations:
- Stand Threading: Thread the quick-detachable holder onto the top mount of a compatible microphone floor stand, desk stand, or podium boom arm. Ensure the fitting is tight and steady to prevent vibration transfer.
- Microphone Insertion: Slide the barrel of the Ahuja AUD-59XLR firmly into the clamp of the quick-detachable holder until it is balanced and stably retained.
- Acoustic Orientation: Orient the top grille directly toward the intended speaker or sound source. Because the microphone utilizes a unidirectional polar pattern, optimal sound capture occurs on-axis, while ambient off-axis sound rejection is maximized to reduce feedback in public address environments.
Audio Signal Interfacing & 3-Pin XLR Cabling
The AUD-59XLR features a 600Ω nominal impedance output, making it directly compatible with standard dynamic microphone inputs on commercial PA amplifiers, audio mixing consoles, and zone preamplifiers.
- Microphone Termination: Align the female 3-pin XLR plug of the included 4.5-meter shielded cable with the 3-pin terminal at the base of the microphone body. Push until the locking latch clicks firmly into place.
- Amplifier/Mixer Input: Route the 4.5-meter shielded cable toward the mixer or amplifier microphone input. The integrated cable shielding minimizes electromagnetic interference and ground hum over the run.
