Operational Use Cases and Deployment Scenarios for the Hitune Bass SBS-40

The Hitune Bass SBS-40 (KT inventory code KTI140020040SBS) is a 40-channel master paging and bidirectional talkback system housed in a black aluminium and MS sheet hybrid chassis. Designed for centralized acoustic management, the console enables individual two-way room communication and plant-wide address across multi-zone facilities.

Educational Campuses: Schools and Colleges

In academic facilities, the SBS-40 operates as an administrative communication hub installed directly in the principal's office, administrative block, or staff control room. The system supports 40 discrete channel lines, enabling administrators to speak to individual classrooms without interrupting adjacent instruction.

Bidirectional two-way talkback allows teaching staff to respond directly back to the master station. Inbound inquiries are signaled at the master console via the Return Call Bell and visual Call Return LED. The console operator monitors incoming responses using the integrated monitor speaker and dedicated monitor speaker volume control. For campus-wide announcements, emergency directions, or morning assemblies, the All Call master switch overrides selective routing to broadcast speech over the attached gooseneck microphone to all 40 connected classrooms simultaneously.

Commercial Retail, Supermarkets, and Departmental Stores

Multi-floor departmental stores and large supermarkets utilize the SBS-40 to segment paging operations across sales aisles, billing counters, customer service desks, and back-of-house storage zones. Floor managers can selectively page specific departments for stock checks, customer pickups, or supervisor assistance.

When cash offices or loading docks need to confirm stock status or staff coordination, the field talkback capability enables remote staff to reply without leaving their stations. An extra rear socket allows system integrators to install an optional electret gooseneck microphone alongside the attached master gooseneck microphone to accommodate dual-operator dispatch environments.

Industrial Establishments and High-Rise Commercial Buildings

In manufacturing plants, commercial office towers, and high-rise facilities, the SBS-40 provides organized multi-zone paging across 40 distinct functional sectors, including mechanical rooms, loading bays, security checkpoints, and separate floor wings.

Operational continuity is maintained through dual-power specifications: the master unit runs on standard 230V AC mains and can be backed up by a 12V DC power source for uninterrupted paging during mains power disruptions. External amplifier power ratings are matched by the installer according to the cumulative count and wattage of the connected field speakers.
