FAQ

What peripheral hardware and input devices can be connected to the eSSL 2 Door Interlocking System?

Answer:
The unit interfaces directly with door exit switches or access readers via the SW1 and SW2 terminals, as well as an external emergency override switch via the dedicated EMG terminal.

The eSSL KTI01003001DR02 controller features dedicated terminal interfaces designed to wire directly into standard clean room and access control door peripherals:

  • Access Switches and Readers: Terminal points SW1 and SW2 connect to push buttons, request-to-exit switches, or electronic access readers (such as biometric or card readers) for Door 1 and Door 2.
  • Emergency Release Switches: A dedicated EMG terminal connects to external emergency override switches or break-glass units to release door interlocks instantly during emergency conditions.
