Biomax N-BM60W Pro System Interfacing and Integration Compatibility

Network and Data Communications Architecture

The Biomax N-BM60W Pro Multi-Bio Time & Attendance System is built on an embedded Linux operating system designed to interface with modern enterprise IT networks. For local and wide-area data transmission, the terminal supports both wireless Wi-Fi connectivity and wired TCP/IP local area networking via an RJ45 Ethernet connection. This dual-network architecture enables facility teams to deploy the hardware in environments without physical network drop cables or incorporate it into structured commercial cabling systems.

For enterprise-scale time tracking, the unit supports real-time Push Data protocol communication. This protocol immediately transmits recorded transactions across local networks, wide area networks, or cloud endpoints to central servers without requiring periodic client polling. In off-grid, branch-office, or temporary industrial project sites lacking live network connections, the integrated USB Host port provides direct file compatibility, allowing administrators to export attendance logs, management reports, and employee registration profiles straight onto standard USB flash drives.

RFID and Multi-Modal Credential Compatibility

The terminal integrates multi-modal biometric and card credential reading hardware to match diverse enterprise authentication policies across a 2,000-user capacity ceiling. For contact-free radio frequency identification, the standard internal reader is compatible with 125 kHz EM frequency proximity cards, while hardware support for 13.56 MHz Mifare high-frequency smart cards is available as a factory configuration option. The device maintains dedicated memory allocations for 2,000 RFID cards and 2,000 numeric password profiles.

For optical credential acquisition, the N-BM60W Pro incorporates a 500 DPI optical fingerprint sensor platen engineered with adaptive surface algorithmic scanning to register and verify dry, moist, rough, ink-stained, and mehndi-treated fingers across a capacity of 2,000 fingerprint templates. The terminal's dual facial recognition optical camera works alongside integrated Array LEDs for low-light identification up to a 1-metre range, maintaining compatibility with 500 facial templates (1:N matching) and processing credentials in under 1 second with a False Acceptance Rate (FAR) of 0.00001% and False Rejection Rate (FRR) of 0.001%.

Software Platforms and HRMS / ERP System Integration

The N-BM60W Pro is natively compatible with Biomax attendance management software platforms across multiple deployment models, including Biomax Desktop, Web-based, and Cloud platforms. It additionally links with the Biomax Employee Self Service mobile application for unified corporate attendance records. To support bespoke enterprise architectures, Biomax provides a comprehensive Software Development Kit (SDK) that allows systems integrators and software engineers to bridge transaction data, user enrollment templates, and internal 1,50,000 audit log records directly into third-party enterprise resource planning (ERP), human resource management systems (HRMS), and automated payroll engines.

Power Supply and Hardware Interfacing Limits

Electrical power interfacing requires an external regulated 5V DC, 1 Amp power source meeting BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) specifications. As designated by reference KTI01001002NBM6, this specific model revision is supplied without an internal backup battery and without an access relay. Consequently, the unit is purposed strictly for automated workforce time-and-attendance tracking and audit logging; it does not directly drive or switch electromagnetic locks, electric strikes, or turnstile barrier access mechanisms.
