Industrial and Enterprise Deployment Applications for Biomax N-BioAccess

The Biomax N-BioAccess terminal is engineered for multi-modal workforce management and secure perimeter management across commercial facilities, enterprise offices, institutional premises, and residential properties. Equipped with an embedded Linux operating system, a 10,000-user capacity, and a 200,000-transaction log buffer, the terminal handles sustained, high-throughput authentication without network latency.

High-Density Corporate Time & Attendance Tracking

In large corporate offices and commercial work environments, shift management demands rapid, friction-free ingress. The N-BioAccess system provides biometric identification speeds of less than or equal to one second utilizing a 500 DPI optical fingerprint sensor (FAR 0.00001%, FRR 0.001%). Combined with 125kHz EM proximity or optional 13.56MHz Mifare RFID card reading and an on-device feather touch keypad, workers can authenticate via multiple credentials. Automated real-time push data protocols synchronize transaction records directly over TCP/IP or Wi-Fi to Biomax DMP Server and Smart Office desktop, web, or cloud software platforms, eliminating manual log extraction.

Architectural Mullions and Narrow Door Frame Access

Modern commercial buildings frequently utilize narrow glass partitions, architectural aluminium profiles, or restricted entry portals where wide access control enclosures cannot mount. With compact dimensions of 75 mm (L) x 200 mm (H) x 35 mm (W), a weight of 0.35 kg, and silver curved edges along a slim vertical profile, the N-BioAccess is specifically dimensioned for tight-space installations. Its 2.8-inch TFT LCD color screen and 16-bit Hi-Fi voice and sound audio prompt system deliver real-time visual and spoken verification feedback in English directly at the door frame.

Secure Perimeter Zones Requiring Anti-Passback Control

For sensitive operational zones within institutions, corporate server environments, and controlled commercial sites, preventing credential sharing is essential. The N-BioAccess features built-in anti-passback functionality to maintain accurate on-premise headcounts and block unauthorized reentry. System integrators can interface the terminal via its integrated output relay directly to electromagnetic locks or drop bolts, while using Wiegand or RS-485 connections to integrate auxiliary hardware:

  • External slave Wiegand or RS485 card/fingerprint readers for dual-sided entry and exit verification
  • No-touch infrared exit sensors for sterile or hygienic interior door release
  • Standard mechanical exit push buttons and wireless remote release modules

Remote and Distributed Network Synchronization

For branch offices, retail chains, or remote institutional facilities where permanent local servers are unavailable, the terminal operates over Wi-Fi, RS485, or standard TCP/IP network interfaces to push clock-in records directly to central enterprise servers. In situations where network access is restricted or offline, administrators can utilize the onboard USB Host port with a standard USB pen drive to download transaction logs and clone user enrollment databases between independent N-BioAccess terminals.

Custom Automation & Third-Party System Integration

System developers and security integrators can incorporate the N-BioAccess into turnstiles, speed gates, and broader security ecosystems. Using standard Wiegand in and out communication interfaces along with Biomax's comprehensive Software Development Kit (SDK), the terminal supports direct software-level management for online user enrollment, expiration dates, remote user deletion, and centralized database synchronization under operating parameters spanning 0°C to 50°C powered by an external 12V DC, 2A supply.
