Power Supply and Automatic DC Transfer Issues
The Ahuja DPA-770M operates on dual-mode power: AC mains (220–240V 50/60Hz consuming 140VA–170VA) and an external 12–14V DC battery (they are not included) drawing up to 3A.
- No AC Power Indication: Check the primary mains input voltage and rear AC fuse. Ensure the rear power terminal block and power switch contacts are seated firmly.
- DC Backup Failure during Mains Outage: If the unit fails to perform an instantaneous cutover during an AC blackout, inspect the external 12V–14V car battery (they are not included) terminals. Ensure proper polarity (+ to +, - to -) and verify the DC battery (they are not included) supply delivers at least 12V under a 3A load.

- Auxiliary Input Low Volume: The Aux channel requires a standard line-level signal of 100mV into 330kΩ. Verify media sources or external preamps are outputting standard line-level audio.
