The Ahuja AM-30SS incorporates dual power-input compatibility to support continuous field operation. The internal battery compartment accepts 10 x UM-3 / AA pencil cells (they are not included). Ahuja recommends utilizing 1.5V AA alkaline cells (they are not included) to achieve maximum acoustic output, extended duty cycles, and consistent siren modulation.
For stationary or vehicle-mounted emergency marshalling, the megaphone includes an auxiliary DC socket compatible with 12V to 14V DC vehicle electrical systems and external car battery connections (they are not included). The acoustic output levels and multi-tone siren specifications of the AM-30SS satisfy the statutory safety requirements of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) - Emergency Response and Disaster Management Plan (ERDMP) regulations for industrial on-site plant alerts and evacuation marshalling.
