Ador SERENITi Mobile Trailer Deployment & Mechanical Installation Guide

Trailer Positioning, Towing, and Site Stabilization

The Ador SERENITi trailer-mounted speed violation detection system is engineered on a heavy-duty steel fabricated chassis measuring 1500 mm in width by 2600 mm in length. Safe transit to temporary road construction zones, arterial highways, or industrial campus roads is supported by an integrated towing arrangement featuring a dedicated tow bar and a foldable, collapsible, and height-adjustable jockey wheel. Amber and Red colored tail reflector-cum-lights and integrated side lights ensure transit visibility and roadway compliance while hauling.

Upon reaching the designated deployment area, park the trailer along the roadside shoulder, median, or security checkpoint. Ground leveling and structural stabilization against traffic turbulence and environmental wind loads are achieved using the integrated 4-point height-adjustable jack arrangement. Lower each corner jack independently to lift the chassis level, unload weight from the transit tires, and establish a firm, vibration-free foundation on asphalt, gravel, or unpaved shoulders.

Mast Hoisting and 330° Optical Alignment

The radar speed display assembly is positioned using a specialized motorized mast or hydraulic jacking arrangement. Elevate the mast assembly to achieve a display height adjustment span between 2.2 meters and 3.0 meters, measured strictly from the ground to the top edge of the speed sign display casing. This elevation profile ensures an unobstructed line of sight over roadside barriers and preceding vehicular traffic.

Once raised, position the 24 GHz ISM-Band / K-Band (24.125 GHz) dual-direction Doppler radar directly toward approaching traffic lanes. The mast features a 330° rotation capability supported by an integrated mechanical locking arrangement. Rotate the sign face toward the target lane and engage the mechanical lock to fix the azimuth angle. Proper orientation is required to achieve the radar's maximum 250 to 300-meter detection range and optimize visibility for the 16-inch high, 3-row tricolor LED speed digits across its 300+ meter legibility distance.

Overhead Solar Panel Rigging and Enclosure Mounting

The system's solar power generation module is engineered for overhead installation. Rig and secure the solar panel assembly onto the trailer mast structure directly above the speed display housing. This overhead positioning prevents shadowing from passing vehicles and maximizes unobstructed photovoltaic absorption throughout outdoor operational temperature extremes ranging from -40°C to +60°C (-40°F to +140°F).

The speed display enclosure—measuring 29 inches high, 29 inches wide, and 10 inches deep with a unit weight of 26 kg without batteries (they are not included)—is constructed from one-piece moulded, anti-UV treated ABS resin with a protective curved polycarbonate front face. The display shell maintains an IP65 waterproof rating and NEMA 4R compliance. An integrated internal pressure safety valve manages internal atmospheric expansion, while an internal miniature circuit breaker (MCB) protects the active electronics from line faults.

Junction Box Hookup and Electrical Termination

Electrical power distribution and auxiliary controls are consolidated in a dedicated junction box mounted directly to the trailer chassis. The enclosure is fabricated from M.S. CRCA Sheet and rated to IP55 dust and moisture protection standards. Inside the junction box, terminate wiring from the overhead solar array to the integrated solar charge regulator.

The internal junction box battery compartment features capacity to house up to 2 batteries (they are not included). For hybrid power support, connect auxiliary input wiring to the onboard 230V AC charging interface to support shore-power operation or offline charging. Average electrical power consumption across standard display operations remains under 150W.

Data Communication and Sensor Interfacing

Configure local and remote communication links directly at the trailer junction interface. Standard local hardware configuration is performed via Mini B-Type USB, LAN, or short-range Bluetooth connectivity using the SERENITi Web App / EVOCOM Software. For installations requiring real-time logging and upload to the SERENITi Cloud App / AIMS Software, configure the optional GSM/GPRS telemetry module (note that field SIM cards and active network data plans are external site-supplied items). Where operational safety protocols mandate active acoustic warnings, interface an optional external siren to the designated internal threshold alarm output terminals.
